Overture Plaza Map Status in HUSH
The PLAY menu lists Overture Plaza alongside an unnamed second environment under the Coming soon label. Blue Code Studios introduced this listing in the 0.8.1 patch on October 10, 2026. Survivors cannot deploy to Overture Plaza through standard lobby queues, private squad lobbies, or level progression.
Unlike mode-based access requirements, Overture Plaza lacks an in-game trigger or unlock requirement. In the 0.5.0-beta phase, The Hollow carried a similar Coming soon designation before developer update 0.6.0-beta opened it to all survivors. Overture Plaza follows the same rollout path during the ongoing open beta. Players starting out can review the beginner guide to understand standard lobby features and raid preparation while waiting for further map access.
Current Raid Map Selection and Requirements
Survivors choose from three fully accessible extraction zones under the PLAY menu. Matchmaking supports solo deployments or fireteams of up to four survivors, with up to 12 players sharing an instance across Normal, Hard, and Nightmare difficulties. Completing one raid unlocks Hard difficulty, which offers higher loot multipliers alongside tighter infection timers.
| Map Name | Deployment Availability | Key Features |
|---|---|---|
| Stillwater | Available immediately | Quarantined town setting with ground-level streets, houses, pharmacy, and hospital |
| The Hollow | Available immediately | Four-level limestone mine with generators, keycard doors, cold store, and seven exits |
| Kestrel Field | Available immediately | Military outpost housing Field HQ with 19 loot containers and exclusive LM-5 drops |
| Overture Plaza | Marked Coming soon | Listed under the PLAY interface without active matchmaking or raid timers |
Survivors looking to learn town navigation can use the Stillwater map guide to track street layouts and exit routes. Those heading underground can follow The Hollow map guide to manage fuel for generators, work around dark sectors, and locate keycards. For open military zones, the Kestrel Airfield map guide outlines container distribution across Field HQ.
Preparing Equipment for New Deployments
Surviving in available zones requires sound management and appropriate gear selection. Infected enemies in HUSH navigate purely by sound, meaning unsuppressed gunshots draw nearby infected from neighboring buildings. Using melee weapons preserves ammunition and keeps noise levels low during room clearing.
Survivors expand their inventory space between deployments by upgrading hideout stations and completing trader contracts. Higher difficulty tiers reward increased hazard pay and better loot distribution. Players can inspect the weapons guide to compare standard firearms like the AB-5 Bullpup and P17 against shotgun penetration mechanics. Equipping secure cases ensures vital items survive death, while pre-raid insurance protects brought-in equipment if an unclaimed body remains behind after extraction.
